Christmas 2007

We had a great Christmas this year. I have been sick through out it and just not starting to feel a little better, but other than that we had a very nice Christmas. Kristopher got a few of his gifts ahead of time this year which we don't usually do, but this year it just worked out that way. He got a new 4wheeler a month or two ago which he LOVES!!! He also got to go see a Rams vs Falcons game. His team (the Falcons) lost!! :-( He has two favorite NFL teams, the Saints and the Falcons, so as one of his presents this year we decided we would re-do his bedroom for him. So most of his presents under the tree this year were sports related things for his room. He also has a favorite College team which is the Florida Gators so he also received allot of Gators things for his room. My mom lives in FL so she was able to get allot of good stuff for him. I got him Saints sheets, a comfortor, valances for his windows, Saints parking signs, a clock, wall banner and a few other things. He of course got video games and clothes as well. I think his favorite thing other than the 4wheeler was something I didn't really approve of, but that he wanted really bad was his shot gun. He loves to shoot skeet out at Cotton's brothers lake, and he always has to use someone else's gun and has been asking for his own the past few months. So we bought one this year for him for Christmas. He will be of course taking a saftey course as soon as we can find one close to us. He is very responsible so I do trust him with it, I just HATE guns. But the gun and the bullets are in seperate parts of the house and he doesn't know where either are. Cotton talked to his brothers and they are going to go shooting this weekend. Kristopher is VERY excited about that. Of coure Cotton mentioned rabbit hunting, but Kristopher wasn't as thrilled about that. He isn't the hunting type. He doesn't like to kill a fly in the house much less a deer or rabbit. (I did something right) LOL

So below are a few pictures of our Christmas Day events!! We went to eat at some good friends of ours Melissa and Ken. I made a ham, stuffing, (the good kind not that yucky cornbread stuffing) LOL, and two pumpkin pie cheese cakes. We also had turkey, mac and cheese, rolls, cheesey potato casarole, mashed potatoes and gravey. Everything was wonderful!!! After dinner the kids were playing the Rock Band game for PS3. They were so funny singing and playing the guitar and drums!! They were having a great time!! I was really starting to feel bad so didn't get to stay to long but did get a few pictures of everyone playing.

We had our Christmas with my niece and nephew over the weekend. Dillon just couldn't wait to open those presents under the tree that had his name on it. He went through them all to see which were his!! :-) So there are a few pictures of them as well!! They are both just to cute! So excited about everything. Kaitlyn would just clap and giggle with everything that was opened even if it wasn't hers, and sometimes before it was even all the way opened. She had no clue what it was but she would just clap and giggle!! To cute!!! Dillon wanted to open every box and play with everything RIGHT NOW!! He even stayed the night so he could keep playing with everything!!
There are a few pictures of the little ones before Christmas Eve Service on Monday. (Kristopher was still at his dads when they came by). Dillon wanted to wear his clip on tie that he had left here awhile back and fufus (what he calls Kristopher) skull cap for the pictures!! He's such a goof ball!!

Opening the shells he was realizing what that meant!! :-)
I just love the excited faces when they open things!! Maybe thats why I'm so broke all the time I need to stop loving those faces!! LOL
Before Christmas Eve Service, my sweet angel Kailtyn!! Dillon laid on his belly for a picture so sister had to as well, but didn't stay long enough for the camera to snap the picture, she started to crawl away!!

Snow and Christmas with Mom

We had a few inches of snow this weekend so the boys had a blast playing out in it. Dillon couldn't wait to go out and make snow angels!! I got some cute pics of the boys playing on Saturday. Kristopher had friends over Sunday but for some reason I didn't get the camera out!! Shame on me!! But at least I have him and Dilly. Kristopher is so good with him. You would think they were brothers as much as they are together and love on each other. Dillon just adores his FuFu as he calls him. (no clue how it became fufu, bu he couldn't really say Kristopher when he was younger and thats what he said so it just stuck)

My mom also flew in this weekend to see Kristopher in his last home game. I only got video of that and no clue how to put that on the computer. But we did Christmas with Mom on Sunday. Here are a few pictures of the kids opening presents.

Christmas Pictures

Just wanted to post a few cute pictures of the kiddos that I took this weekend for Christmas. These were the best we got. Kaitlyn wanted no part of sitting down and staying still. LOL Cotton had to make spiders come out of my head with his hands to make her sit for 2 seconds. They didn't turn out to bad though. :-) They are all just so cute!!

Christmas Lights...

For years I have wanted to have yard decorations for Christmas, you know the lighted deer and the lighted trees etc... well hubby always says he has no where to store them after christmas, well he built a big shed recently AND our friends and neighbors one street over went way out this year and have all kinds of beautiful lights, SOOOOO hubby says "go get stuff I WILL FIND somewhere to store them, I can't let Danny out do me" LOL. We have always had lots of lights around the house just nothing in the yard. SOOOOO I went out and got as much stuff as I could fit in my cart and then went again LOL, I thought I had so much stuff. Well once it was all put up it really doesn't look like a whole lot, but it does look cute.

Cotton even had to build a ski slope for Santa to use because the lighted Santa is skiing :-) You can't tell in the pictures but he moves back and forth. He is SOOOO proud of his ski slope LOL, I'm sure most people are thinking what the heck is that, but he was very proud of himself yesterday once he got it all put together with all his scrap wood he had laying around!! :-) He's so funny!!
Here is a picture of the whole house and then a closer one of the deer and trees.
One from the other angle you can see the "ski slope" LOL
Here is Santa and his "ski slope" :-) and one of my tree inside!!
