I just posted about Kristopher's first day of HS and in that same week, my adorable sweet precious little nephew has started
KINDERGARDEN!!! People that don't know us may have thought that the two little ones pictured in this blog are my children. They are not they are my niece and nephew, my sisters kids. I have taken care of Dillon since he was a baby. He doesn't live with me but is with me every day all day long. We love them just like our own children. They are a big part of our family. So Dillon's first day of school came so fast!! He has been so excited about it all summer long. He
wants me to ask his teacher to give him homework like "
fufu" has (he started calling Kristopher
fufu when he was first trying to say his name and so
that's just what we call him now!) He said he
doesn't just want worksheets he wants real homework!! He's so funny! Here are a few pictures of his first day. His parent's took him but stopped by so I could get some pictures before they headed to the school. Then they took my camera for me to take pics!

He was so excited to eat breakfast at school that morning so they had to go early so they could be sure to get him breakfast! :-) Can you tell by the smile how excited he is!!

Please keep the kids in your prayers this week, they will be moving in with us for the next two months. Their dad is going to be away for about two months and its going to be very very
difficult for them. Dillon especially is going to have a VERY hard time with this, him and Jake are VERY attached. He is already showing some signs of anxiety from it so please ask God to be with them at this time.

Looks like your nephew had a wonderful first day of Kindergarten.
Start speaking positively, and keep reminding Dillon that his daddy is just away and he will come back and he will be ok (both will be ok). Let him talk and listen, then turn to something positive and enjoyable. God will provide all he needs and all you need. Love you
Wow it is hard to believe he is in kindergarten already but I can't believe our boys are freshman in high school now either. Just know that we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Take care.
He is such a sweet little guy. You know he feels like such a big boy now. You know Misty, starting to school may help him while his dad is away to keep his mind occupied with this whole new facet of his life. I will certainly remember him when I pray. Thanks for sharing your blog with me.
