Our Family: Kristophers 1st Basketball game

Kristopher had his first basketball game with the 8th grade team. He was very excited!! He hasn't played on a team since 6th grade so he was eager to get playing again. He wasn't a starter as he had hopped (he always has been in the past) he is one of the shorter guys ( I think he is actually the shortest) on the team so to see him against these big tall guys is pretty amusing. He played a total of about 7 minutes, which is one quater. I wouldn't say it was his best performance, but he did ok. He said he is really going to more effort in at practice. Even though I know he puts in 100% the way it is, he loves the game. The practices are hard, lots of running, but he wouldn't trade it for anything. He loves being out there, with the ball in his hand running down the court. I hope he will be able to play more often in future games, so does he!! His dad and his girlfriend Jenny and his Grandma all made the drive down to see him. He was was happy about that. They don't get to see allot of his games since they live 2 hours away, so I know when the do make the drive he is always happy to see them. I have a few pictures here to show, my camera has that stupid delay so some of them are hard to see which one he is. He is on the white team and his number is three!! I will try and describe where he is in each picture so those of you that don't know him well that read this will be able to pick him out. Oh and Dillon was with me last night, he LOVES going to watch his fufu play ball whatever kind it is baseball or basketball (soon to be football, if kristopher and our friend Tom have their way!! :-)), but anyway when kristopher was in the last quater the whole time that he was in Dillon yelled "go fufu, go fufu, go fufu" it was so cute. It would be dead quiet while someone was shooting a free throw and there he is yelling as loud as he could for fufu, I had to tell him to quiet down a few times LOL!! We asked Kristopher if he could hear him but he said he couldn't. When we got home we watched the video and you can hear him on that and we were all cracking up!! It was to cute!! Dillon played with a few little boys next to us the whole time, unless fufu was in then he was watching him and didn't take his eyes off of him while yelling go fufu!! LOL

Kristopher is the shorter one under the basket this was after they all ran out between the cheerleaders to the band playing loudly and they ran around the court!! He loved that said he felt like a professional!!! :-)
