First Wrestling Match

I just had to hop on and say what a great job Kristopher did at his first wrestling match! He didn't win but he didn't get pinned either. He went through all three quaters. He got on his feet after all of the moves the other kid put on him. He would reverse it or roll over when the kid had him on his back. For his first match ever he was wonderful and I was very proud of him. I video tapped it and a friend took some pics, so I will post those when i get them from her.

Christmas Pictures of my Niece and Nephew

I had to post a few pictures of Dillon and Kaitlyn for all the family and friends to see. They came over Christmas Eve to open presents since we were going to be gone Christmas Day. Some of the pictures are of Kaitlyn in her Christmas dresses. Brandy bought the red one and I bought the pink one. She wore the pink one the week before Christmas to church then the red on Christmas Eve Sunday to church. She was just to darn cute!! And my little man got bath paint for Christmas so he of course had to go straight upstairs and get in the tub. Boy did he have fun!! What a sweetie pie he is!!!

Christmas Vacation 2006

We are home safe and sound from out WONDERFUL vacation. We left Christmas morning bright and early and headed for the airport. We had a great flight to FL. We went back to my grandmas and had a tasty Christmas dinner. Tuesday, we went to the movies with mom. We saw The Pursuit of Happyness. It was a great movie. I would recommend it to all. Wednesday we got up and headed to Orlando for the all the fun. Wednesday night we went to a Lakers vs Magic game. Pictures are below. Lakers and Heat are Kristopher favorite team so he had a great time. Especially since the Lakers won!!!! :-) He even got Brian Cooks autograph!! Of course that was a THRILL for him!!!!

Thursday we went to Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios. We had a nice time there!! The lines were SOOOOO LONG, but we managed to get in a few rides. We ate that night at the NBA reasturant which was pretty cool. The food was great!!

Friday we enjoyed the day at Animal Kingdom. We went there when Kristopher was 5 and it was my least favorite. Since then they have added ALOT of things and we had a BLAST!!! Kristopher rode the new roller coaster with Cotton 3 different times. He LOVED it. Mom and I went to the Lion King show which was great!!! I highly recommend that to anyone going to Disney. Friday was a wonderful day!! Beautiful weather!!! (of course we were in shorts all week)

Saturday we checked out of the hotel and went on a tour of a timeshare/condo and ended up buying it along with my mom. We are excited about the oppertunities to travel more with these. We can also help anyone else interested in traveling with accomadations for really cheap and they are all 5 star resorts. So if anyone wants to buy a week from us let us know we would be happy to help out. The weeks start at $135 and are up to $450 for 7 nights accomadations. And its anywhere in the world!! So just let me know.
That night we went to a Heat vs Magic game. Kristopher got to be part of the High 5 club, which means he got to go out on the court they put him up on the big jumbo tron, then he got to stand in line to High 5 the Magic players as they came out on to the court. He was thrilled about getting to do that. He had been upset because his favorite player Dwane Wade was injurned and was not going to be at the game, along with Shaq and one other player. So being out there helped!! :-) I have pictures here as well!!

We arrived home late that night and then got up and went to church with mom and grandma Sunday morning. We came home and rested for awhile then went to a New Years Eve party and dance at moms church. It was actually pretty fun. Kristopher had a blast, he did kareoke (ms) he sang "I Feel Good" by James Brown and everyone loved it. If you know him well you know what a show off he can be so he loved it!!! Cotton and I left because we had to be out of the house at 3:30 in the morning for our flight so we went home and went to bed. Kristopher stayed with my mom and did some more songs and of course showed off his break dancing moves. So he had a blast there!!

So we had a wonderful time!! It all seemed to go by so fast!!! Thank you mom for having us and showing us such a great time!! Its a Christmas time we will never forget!!!

Talent Show

Kristopher was in the Talent Show yesterday!! He did a great job. I have some pictures here to share, though they aren't that great of quality. I had to adjust the brightness in them because they were taken in a Gym and my camera takes really bad pictures in bad lighting!! Him and two of his friends danced to "Chain Hang Low" they were break dancing. It was really good. He was such a ham up there!! We have video of it to take to Grandmas next week on vacation. After everyone performed they had everyone come back up on stange for a round of applause and of course my ham of a son was asking for more applause, by waving his hands around etc... He did a flip on stage during the applause as well. To funny!! He really needs to be an actor. LOL

My Visit

This weekend I was able to go and see Ella and her family!! Ella is the my surrobaby that I had last year in November. Her parents were so sweet and bought me a ticket for my birthday to come and see Ella for her 1st birthday. We had a really nice visit. I can't believe how big Ella is already. She says a few words and smiles and giggles!!! She is walking all over the place and loves to get into everything!! :-) I wanted to share a few pictures from the weekend so you can all see how big and beauitful she is!!! Thank you so much Sarah and Paul for the wonderful gift!!!

Kristopher!

Well I had to come back on and let you all know Kristoper did make the cuts for the Talent Show. He is so excited!! They have practice Thursday after school and then the show is Wednesday the 20th. Its their last day before the Holiday Break. I will be sure to post pictures so you can all see what a dancer he is!! LOL

I also had to come on and let you know that my sweet boy was Student of the Month for November. It was a suprise to him!!! They let the parents know but keep it a secret from the kids until the day of the assembly. The assembly was on Friday so we got him a bunch of balloons and his dad got to come down to suprise him as well. They hid us in the band room and all the kids went to the gym. A teacher from each team (6th -8th are broken into two teams per grade) went forward and told who there student of the month was and then the parent of that child came out from hidding in the hall way. Kristopher was so shocked!! I wish I could have seen his face when the said his name!! He was thrilled he has wanted to get SOM since the first month of 6th grade. They get to have a pizza party tomorrow for all the students who received this honor!! Here are a few pictures from that day!! Ryan is here

My dear friend Melissa delivered her Surrogate baby today!! I just had to come on and say how proud I am of her!! She did an amazing job with no complaints!! She was having some good contractions that started last night so we think he would have decided to come today even if there was no C-section! Here are some picutres of Ryan and his mommy and daddy!! Ryan was born at 9:07 am 8lbs 6 oz and 19 1/2 inches long!

Our day

Well today we had to take Kristopher to the dr and to get some xrays of his foot. We were at the basketball game last night at the Middle School and he fell and hurt it. He was unable to put any pressure on it at all until a little while ago. We still don't have an results of the xrays yet. So hopefully by tomorrow. Since he is doing a little better this evening I am thinking that it probably isn't broke. This morning I thought maybe but not that he is walking a little better and with out the crutches (we had some here at the house he was using) as much I think it might just be bruised or something. He is worried about tomorrow because the tryouts for the talent show are tomorrow after school and him and two friends are going to try out. They are doing a "free style" dance to some rap song. He is hoping it will feel much better by then!

Tonight I put a new outfit on baby sister and she looks so cute so I had to take some pictures for grandma! Then Dillon of course had to have some and then take some so below are some of the pictures from tonight! My three beautiful babes!! Ok so one of them isn't really a baby anymore and two of them aren't biologically mine but I still consider them all my babies!! :-)

Thanksgiving

Hello!! This is my first attempt at a blog!! My best friend has one and I thought with the family that we have everywhere this might be a good way to keep everyone updated on what is going on here in IL.

We got home last night after a wonderful visit with Grandma in Michigan!! We had a really nice relaxing time. No shopping this year! We had a great meal Thursday afternoon. I made for the first time ever dressing/stuffing. It was really good!! It was made from scratch and I was so proud of myself!! :-) grandma made a delicioius turkey and all the sides!! It was very very good! We went to the movies on Friday and Grandma watched Kaitlyn. I guess she slept most of the time we were gone. Then we went to Canada on Saturday. Grandma had a hair appt and didn't think her back could handle the drive there and back and then the walking so she stayed home. We got up and went to church yesterday and then came home for a quick bite to eat then we left for the LONG drive home. Kaitlyn did really good the whole time except the last two hours!! She cried the whole time. I eventually had to take her out of her seat and hold her the last 20 min or so of the trip. We just couldn't take the crying we all felt so bad for her. She was fine after I took her out. Kristopher was just sure we were going to get stopped by the police and taken to jail!! :-)
